RANT

It must be SO difficult to maintain your concentration (and a Diary) when you only work TWO HOURS per week – just so many distractions!  Never mind – I am not so good with Diaries either, especially when it comes to entries 6 months ahead!  So be aware!!!

Perhaps some people think Poster and Ticket designs happen at the click of a button and that multiple website entries just update themselves  –

well they don’t!

This year, the choir Christmas Meal has been booked for Wednesday, 16 December, at Amelie’s Restaurant, with a sit-down start time of 20:00 hrs [change].

After a quick nudge to the Making Music Central Office, I have managed to get my mitts on the latest issue of this glossy magazine which you can read by clicking on this LINK.

Christmas events

I’ve have just heard (last night) that the tentative approach to us to perform some festive musical entertainment in Leyland, on December 17th, has failed to pan out – but we do still have the Eccleston WI concert (on the 8th December).

STOP PRESS: We have since been asked [AND NOW HAVE HAD CANCELLED] to give a Christmas Concert at St. Saviour’s Church in Bamber Bridge.  This will NOT be on either Wednesday 9th December or on Thursday 10th, at any time.

Well, after a successful, if exhausting, summer visit to St. Alban’s Cathedral the choir meets up for the new season on Wednesday, 9th September 2009, at the new rehearsal venue of St. Ambrose’s Church, Leyland.

For those members of the Committee, there is a meeting at Jane’s on the Tuesday (14th) evening at 8 p.m.
